Ever since he moved from Germany to Los Angeles in 1989, Reinhold Bogner has been in the business of building some of the world's top custom amps. Bogner quickly made a name for himself on the L.A. scene and began creating custom amps for a number of top players. One of his first amps was custom made for Eddie Van Halen, which helped put Bogner in the spotlight and opened up his work to a much wider audience. In the ten years it has been in business, the company has expanded its product line while maintaining its dedication to quality work.
Products:
Below is a list of many of Bogner’s most popular amps.
Esctasy
The Esctasy features three different channels that can be used to create sounds from retro, to modern, and even futuristic sounds. It comes with six tuned channel variations that go from barking Plexi to chewy overdrive to incredibly clean tones.
Uberschall
This classic amp features a super aggressive channel with bass, gain, treble, middle, volume, and presence control. It’s one of the most powerful amps you’ll ever find. If you’re looking for an amp for aggressive, heavy music, the Uberschall is what you want.
Shiva
The Shiva has two channels; one for great clean tones and the other for major saturation. These amps offer reverb and great British-style midrange.
Duende
Looking for an amp that’s very versatile? The Duende features reverb and tremolo and works great both at home for practicing and in small venues. This amp can handle both vintage tones, clean sounds, and British gain. The two channels can be used independently or combined to create an interactive, versatile amp.
Metropolis
Bogner’s Metropolis amp features classic EL-84 tones and a very dynamic voice. The amp’s single circuit is very sensitive and will adjust to every little shift and change in your guitar. This amp can provide a huge range of different tones.
Fish Preamp
The original Fish Preamps were built between 1991 and 1993, but the demand for these amazing preamps was so great that Bogner did another limited run in 2008. They featured volume, middle, bass, and treble controls and were capable of highly aggressive gain.
Where to Buy:
