Carr Mercury 1×12 Combo
The Carr Mercury Amplifier is perhaps the ultimate studio or practice amp as it delivers huge rich reverb and overdriven tube sounds at low volumes. If you're a vintage tone hound then this little combo will satisfy a whole range of classic tones from spongy tweed, to blackface and plexi style overdrive.
It features a 3 way gain switch, a treble cut switch, and an onboard attenuator delivering 8, 2, 1/2, or 1/10 watt output. Stick a mic in front of this amp, and using the 8 watt setting you have more than enough headroom to bring a wide range of classic tones to any gig.
The Mercury is completely hand wired by expert craftsman Steve Carr. The Mercury can really achieve some subtle to intense output tube overdrive and the EL-34 power tube delivers a really fat and rich sound.
