Victoria Amplifiers were created by Mark Baier who wanted a ‘50s style amp that could handle the needs of modern day players. His main inspiration was Leo Fender and the designs of early tweed and blackface amps.
In his faithful recreations of these early classics, Baier makes use of original circuits including transformers, capacitors, resistors, eyelet boards, pots, and the like. These amplifiers combine modern fidelity with classic taste.
Artists that Use Victoria Amps
Many well known artists use and swear by Victoria amps which is a pretty good testament to the quality and sound these amps are known for. Trey Anastasio from Phish plays a Victoria amp. So does Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day and Billy Gibbons with ZZ Top. Adam Levy with Norah Jones, Keith Richards and Ron Wood with the Rolling Stones, as well as Paul Stacy with the Chris Robinson Band.
