Other features of the Piedmont include its all Allen Bradley carbon composition resistors, the Jupitor Red Astron tinfoil and mylar coupling capacitors, and the Sprague electrolytics. It uses one 5AR4 tube, two 5881 Tung Sol RIs, two 12AX7 Mullard’s, and one NOS 12AY7. The amp also uses solid 22g cloth covered wire just as the original did.

The Piedmont comes in a handmade cab covered with tweed and spray tinted. While it is sprayed, rest assured that there is no buildup of tint or sealer on the inside—all Clark amps are taped and masked before spraying. The Piedmont retails for $3,195, but used ones can be found for as little as $2,000.

The Low Country amp is one of their top selling classics.  It features normal and bright channels, a custom wound voltage corrected power transformer so you won’t hear any harsh tones, and two Weber Alnico P12N 12 inch speakers.  This amp comes in both 45 watt and 80 watt power options.

The Piedmont, which is 45 watts of powerful amp, is another classic.  It has bass, treble, presence, and middle controls and is powered by a 5AR4, two 12AX7’s, and a NOS 12AY7 tube.  It uses four Weber Alnico P10Q ten inch speakers that are perfect replicas of the Jenson P10Q speakers that were originally used in this amp.

The thirty watt Tyger has common treble, presence, and bass controls and, like the Piedmont, uses the Weber Alnico P10Q ten inch speakers.  The Typer also features Allen Bradley carbon composition resistors and Jensen Copper paper, foil, and oil coupling capacitors.  It’s one of the best 5E7 replicas you’ll find.

The Beaufort model, which is a low powered 18 watt amp, has normal and bright channels.  It uses a NOS 5Y3GT, two 6V6s, one 12AX7, and one12AY7 tube.  As for the speaker, the Beaufort uses a Celestion Blue 12 inch.

The Lil’Bit reminds us that size doesn’t matter when it comes to amps.  It’s only five watts, but it’s a great amp for home or the studio.  However, Clark revamped the Lil’ Bit into the Lil’ Bit Ltd later.  This updated amp can be upped to ten watts of power and provides even more options with its tone control and the ability to use either one or two 6V6 tubes.
