MXR MC-401 CAE Boost / Line Driver
The MXR MC-401 CAE Boost / Line Driver is one of MXR’s newest pedals in their boost/overdrive and boost lines. Designed by MXR and Bob Bradshaw, the founder of Custom Audio Electronics, this pedal is incredibly dynamic. 
The MXR MC-401 is instantly recognizable by the unique sonic stamp that Bob Bradshaw puts on everything he designs. He and his crew at Custom Audio Electronics have been creating pedals like this one for well over 25 years, but they were always made in very limited quantities. The MXR Phase 90 is the classic definition of a phaser. This little one-knob orange bad boy has worked it's way through countless genres, from seventies fusion to eighties hard rock to nineties grunge. It can be heard on many of Eddie Van Halen's lead tracks adding a shimmer to the those high velocity passages and a subtle woosh to palm muted strumming. 
This M-104 delivers classic, authentic distortion tones from warm overdriven lead sounds to an amazing retro fuzz with fantastic sustain. The pedal achieves a subtle tube overdriven sound at low volume / gain. Within the primary zones of the Output and Distortion controls of the M-104 are some soft, clipped overdriven tones that sound truly authentic. Add a splash of reverb and you have one classic sound! 
The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay is one sweet Delay pedal! It brings back the fat, rich tones from best delay pedals of the seventies, using the classic "bucket brigade" circuitry. The 100% analog design brings you everything from a classic slap echo all the way up to 600ms of delay without losing any warmth or smoothness. Three basic knobs control Delay time, Mix, and Repetition Two internal trim posts control the width and rate of the delay signal. This peddle will take you from classic rockabilly slap to Gilmore style tones with simple turn of a knob!
